This tea bowl was made on my pottery wheel in Taiwan. I wanted to make a tea bowl that could be comfortably held in
two hands. This one feels nice when held that way.
As I was throwing the bowl I attempted to add some unique character by leaving some nice ridges in the clay.
I hand carved the foot ring adding some more character to the tea bowl. I believe that a good tea bowl should show the hand of the maker. My seal is stamped near this foot ring.
