This tea bowl was made on my pottery wheel in Taiwan.
As I was throwing the bowl I attempted to add some unique character by leaving some nice ridges in the clay.
This bowl is slightly open, inviting, and ready to receive.
While glazing I added some iron brush strokes, adding to the uniqueness of the piece. I believe that a good tea bowl should show the hand of the maker.
My seal is stamped near the turned foot ring.
