The clock is made from elephant droppings’ paper, waste collected from the elephant camps and worthless thing. The property of natural fiber from animal droppings, which are turned from “waste” into “useful thing,” is the information to produce a new product and local wisdom, as well as maximizing the use of remaining resources.
The elephant droppings’ paper, by-product from the elephant camps in northern Thailand, has been gone to the design and molding processes to produce modern products in order to increase benefits and values. This aims to be part of reducing waste in the elephant camp because every day elephants will excrete a large amount of droppings. Therefore, making use of elephant droppings is to eliminate waste and add value to worthless thing, as well as saving the environment.
