Then, a child walked by.
Tomeito-san asked the child,
“Do you like tomatoes?”
If the child had said “no,” they would have been absorbed by Tomeito-san’s right hand and turned into a fresh tomato.
“I guess they’re okay,” the child replied.
Tomeito-san lowered his right hand.
The child had narrowly escaped becoming a tomato.
But then, the child spoke again.
“But I don’t like dogs.”
With that, the child walked away.
Things got a little awkward,
so Tomeito-san turned the dog into a tomato.
