This wheel-thrown vase was made from Taiwanese clay and then an ash glaze was applied.
This vase is not perfect as it has glaze drips and one of the lug holes is blocked with glaze. While still wet I made an indentation with a stick to add a handmade aspect. I like pottery that displays a rawness and has 'flaws' that can be celebrated. There is beauty in imperfection.
