This pouring vessel was made from local Taiwanese clay. I then applied a shino glaze, made famous in Japan. While the glaze was drying I dusted wood ash over sections of the piece, resulting in its own unique glaze.
I love making functional pottery that will add pleasure to the user's life.
The connection made from maker to user is real.
My maker's mark is found at the base of this pot.
