The center divider between the two compartments is a small zippered coin purse, designed to temporarily store a few coins. This wallet has only a few functions, not many, and the snakeskin lining can sometimes catch on the scales, making it less user-friendly. However, while it may appear to be a regular leather wallet at first glance, upon opening it, it is covered in snakeskin and accented with double stitching, giving it a unique look. [About the Leather] The leather is high-quality Italian Buttero cowhide. This tanned leather is tanned over a long period of time, from "skin" to "leather." With use, it will darken slightly and develop a lustrous texture, aging over time. Faint veins, scars, and wrinkles from the animal's life may be visible on the surface of the leather, resulting in uneven coloring. While we try to eliminate any major imperfections, we hope that even small imperfections like these will be appreciated as a sign of the natural beauty of the leather.
