This cup/bowl is made from speckled clay and dipped in white smooth glazed . It is then Bisque fired for 6-8 hours at around 1,830 - 1,940 F in order to make strengthen the clay and transform it into a porous state for glazing. After I glaze my piece, the last step is glaze firing at a temperature of 2,185 - 2,232 F (I use cone 6 @ my home studio) usually taking about 24 hours, depending on kiln size and time to cool down
