MC ZENITAR-M2s LENS LENS FOR M42 ZENIT, PENTAX, OR BESSAFLEX CAMERAS

MC ZENITAR-M2s is a standard multi-coated (MC) lens with springblend aperture designed for Soviet SLR 35 mm Zenit cameras. The lens can be fitted on the M42 Pentax cameras. I saw photos taken with similar lenses several times before and I appreciated excellent pictures quality. In the main, most all Soviet and Russian lenses are exceptionally good and this one is no exception! It can be used with a lot of digital Micro 4/3 cameras with simple and inxpensive adapter. ITEM'S CONDITION: EXCELLENT++++ The lens looks nice, like very accurately used before, optics are clean, but some very minor cleaning marks at front optical element are presented. I sure, those negative features will not impact on image quality (see the note below, please). Aperture "jumps" correctly, focusing is smooth. All functions are available. TECHNICAL FEATURES * Focus 50 mm. * Angle of view about 45 degrees. * Relative aperture 1:2.0 (up to 1:16 with clicks). * Springblend aperture with push-up pin which closes the aperture when shutter release button is depressed or the shutter fires. * Aperture has no Auto-Manual switch, it shows installed meaning when aperture pin is depressed. * Mounting M42 x 1mm groove, known as Pentax Thread Mount, same with a lot of old SLR cameras (Practica, Chinon, Yashika, Bessaflex etc). * Mounting for some modern SLR & dSLR cameras will not bring any trouble with most of well-spread M42 adapters. Adapter should have the hook which should hold aperture pin depressed, in other case you'll can not adjust the aperture because it will fully opened all the time. * The lens is well-applicable for digital cameras with micro 4/3 system and other with working distance 45.5mm and less, with the use of adapters: All Sony NEX, Olympus, Panasonic: Lumix DMC-G1, DMC-GH1, DMC-GF1, DMC-G2, DMC-G10, Epson, Samsung and other. * Focusing from 0.35m. * Scale of distances in meters. * Filter mount M 46x0.75mm.
