It is often described as “one color into the kiln, a myriad out of the fire.” Among its many glaze tones, the Jun red is one of the most difficult to achieve successfully. 👨‍🏫 Taiwanese ceramic artist Lo Wen-Chi (羅文祺) has been creating pottery for 27 years. He pursues contemporary artistic expression by reinterpreting ancient glazes like Jun ware, pairing them thoughtfully with refined vessel forms.
