Then, as we go along, feel free to ask more questions or explore other areas ✻ ✸ What to expect for the reading? Black Spring draws inspiration from tarot decks and various other oracle cards. It’s an ancient story retold in a fresh way, using different symbols to offer a new perspective. Similar to the classic tarot, Black Spring features a protagonist, The Atomic Girl, who embarks on a life-transforming journey like how The Fool does. Throughout her journey, she encounters figures who either offer her something or take something away. There are moments of both light and darkness, a sacrifice, and ultimately, an enlightenment leading to spiritual growth. Black Spring includes both major and minor cards. The major cards create the core storyline of Black Spring, while the minor cards highlight elements drawn from the story. If duplicate elements appear in a reading, it’s important to pay special attention to their messages. The major cards are labeled with only numbers, without titles. (You can find the titles in the booklet.) This deck encourages you to “read graphically,” tapping into your creative side as you interpret the colors, shapes, animals, objects, and other symbols. Consider how the messages relate to what’s happening in your life at the moment. Each reading serves as a form of self-analysis, with the images reflecting your current state of mind. ✻ ✻ ✻
