ABOUT ITEM'S ORIGIN (You can SKIP it!) PANCOLAR auto is a standard multi-coated (MC) lens with springblend aperture designed for Germany SLR 35 mm Praktica cameras. The lens can be fitted on the M42 Pentax cameras. This famous lens was manufactured in the Germany Democratic Republic at famous Carl Zeiss Jena factory, and features outstanding sharpness, contrast and color rendition. I saw photos taken with similar lenses several times before and I appreciated excellent pictures quality. It can be used with a lot of digital Micro 4/3 cameras with simple and inxpensive adapter. ITEM'S CONDITION: EXCELLENT+++++ The lens looks very accurately used before, optics are clean, aperture "jumps" correctly. Aperture is smooth, focusing is smooth too. Cosmetically the lens looks fine, just examine item's photos, please. All functions are available. TECHNICAL FEATURES * Focus 50 mm. * Angle of view about 45 degrees. * Optical registration 45.5mm. * Relative aperture 1:1.8 (up to 1:22 with 1/2 F-stop clicks). * The lens has very nice "A"-"M" aperture selector, it will very useful if You'll use different devices (for example macro rings) which have no springblend aperture driver. * Mounting M42 x 1mm groove, known as Pentax Thread Mount, same with a lot of old SLR cameras (Practika, Chinon, Yashika, Bessaflex etc). * Mounting for different modern SLR & dSLR cameras will not bring any trouble with well-spread M42 adapters. * The lens is well-applicable for digital cameras with Micro 4/3 system and other with working distance 45.5mm and less, with the use of adapters: All Sony NEX, Olympus, Panasonic: Lumix DMC-G1, DMC-GH1, DMC-GF1, DMC-G2, DMC-G10, Epson, Samsung and other. * Focusing from 0.35m. * Scale of distances in meters and feets. * Filter mount M 49x0.75mm. * The lens was made in DDR (East Germany).
