Nikkor AF (MKII), lens for SLR camera 35-70 mm, f/3.3-4.5, Nikon F mount, s/n 4298380, Nikon, Japan Sold as not working. Lens is clear and clean, without fungus, (micro)scratches or dust. Body has signs of age. Zoom lens is fixed at 40mm, when rotating rubber ring it overtwists. Focus ring rotates properly and easily. Aperture ring has a crack, rotates with no effect. Aperture fix switch works properly. Jumping aperture pin works. Camera "Nikon N4004S" is not included and shown as an example of mount. This lens is the second modification of that model. The first modification (which is commonly known as "Mark I") was produced since 1986 till 1989 and in Japan only. The lens offered is "Mark II" and was produced since 1989 till 1994. Lenses which serial number starts from 4 were made in Japan, and lenses with serial number starting from 5 were made in Thailand. So, lens offered is from Japan. Lens is FX (designed for full frame Nikon cameras), AF (can be used with cameras equipped with auto-focus), non-G (non-gelded - so the aperture ring is present), NIC (Nikon Integrated lens coating - has special anti-reflection coating), M (Macro - can be used as macrolens), non-D (does not send the present distance of focusing to the camera). Focal distance 35-70mm is achieved at full frame.
