The originals are drawn by rapidograph + gel pen on sketchbooks. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This book is a collection of my Tree series. The Tree series is derivative from my artist's book project "Travel Book Series" vol.3 'Travel Book III : Europe, Taiwan'. I hiked in suburb mountain in Taipei called Yangmingshan National Park during 2006 to 2007, and every time I created a drawing of the same tree in Lengshuikeng, but I tried to express the tree in many different ways. Through the mode of growth and stacking, repetition and extension to structure the image. Intend to show a spiritual depth instead of the virtual image of three-dimensional distance. I drew the outline and part of the background in front of the tree, and finished the drawing in front of my desk. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- First printed in 2015. Full color digital offset printing by HP indigo 5000. Hand stamped backcover with green ink. Hand painted spine with silver Holbein gouache. 105 gsm white Takeo double textured fine art paper.
